Australia landed in Auckland for the weekend with the OZ Talk Travel Expo where nearly 200 operators converged on the Auckland Showgrounds to showcase their place in OZ. Celebrity indigenous chef Mark Olive cooked up a storm while Australian Idol Stan Walker wowed the crowds and for the little people there was Dorothy the Dinosaur and friends direct from their home on the Gold Coast.

Tourism Australia this week launched the much awaited Short Breaks campaign and our stilt walkers and promo girls took to the streets of Auckland – as it was just 8 degrees in downtown, not much of a reason was required to head off to warmer climes
